The XgardIQ is Crowcon’s most intelligent fixed gas detector, designed to improve safety by reducing the time operators must spend in hazardous areas. This next-generation SIL2 certified detector and transmitter is engineered for high-risk industrial environments including oil & gas platforms, refineries, petrochemical plants, and gas terminals.

With a universal transmitter and smart sensor technology, XgardIQ supports Crowcon’s full range of sensor types for flammable, toxic, oxygen, and fixed H₂S gas detection. Users can set the sensor full-scale range to match specific location requirements, ensuring accurate detection tailored to each application.

The device offers hot-swappable sensors, remote sensor mounting (up to 15 m), and offline calibration, enabling fast and safe maintenance without shutting down operations. The OLED display and +Ve safety indicator provide clear readings and instant confirmation of device status even in low-light environments.

XgardIQ is optionally available with Alarm and Fault relays, and HART communication, making it a flexible solution for modern safety systems.
